What Does a Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection Include?

• Interior: The certified technician spends time inside the cabin checking the cabin air filter, power locks, windows, door latches, HVAC system performance, mirrors, lighting, telematics subscription, seat belts, horn, clutch pedal, brake pedal, and windshield wipers.
• Drivetrain, Suspension & Exterior: We inspect the essential suspension, steering, and exhaust components. We check for engine, transmission, brake, and power steering fluid leaks.
• Under Hood: We access the engine bay to check the accessory drive belt and pulleys, hood latch, engine air filter, and engine cooling system.
• State Inspection Check: We check if your Subaru is due for emissions testing.
• Fluids: We check essential fluid levels and conditions, including motor oil, coolant, power steering, transmission, differential oil, brake, and washer fluids.
• Battery: We inspect the battery terminal while measuring electrical performance.
• Brakes: We inspect the braking system, measure the front and rear pads, and record the measurements on the form.
• Tires: We inspect all tires, including a wear assessment, damage check, tread depth measurement, and pressure adjustment to specifications. We also check the spare tire/repair kit and lug nut torque.

How to Interpret the Inspection’s Results

• Green: Components scored green are in good condition and do not require maintenance.
• Yellow: Components scored yellow have some wear and tear but are in acceptable condition with future maintenance recommended.
• Red: Components scored red have excessive wear and tear with immediate maintenance recommended.
