Hosts Second Annual Share the Love Food Truck Event
Meals-onWheels invites San Diegans to Share the Love while enjoying local food truck fare and helping homebound seniors!
San Diego, CA (November 6, 2012) - Meals-onWheels Greater San Diego, Inc. and Kearny Mesa Subaru invite San Diegans to the 2nd Annual Share the Love Food Truck Event on Tuesday December 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. In celebration of the Subaru Share the Love Event happening at Subaru dealerships throughout the country, more than 10 of San diego's top food trucks will be on-site serving gourmet meals to hungry patrons. In addition, each food vendor will be donating 20 per cent of the day's proceeds to help feed homebound San Diego seniors. Last year's Share the Love campaign drew large crowds at both Kearny Mesa Subaru and El Cajon Subaru and supported Meals-on-Wheels in raising over $15,000.
Confirmed food trucks for this year's event include Insider, Food Farm, Sweet Treats, Slowcal, Chubby's, and Groggy's. Please watch Meals-onWheels Greater San Diego, Inc.'s Facebook page for updates on participating food trucks.
